Some people say that the performances are the biggest attraction of puppet festivals.  A variety of styles all come together to entertain us for days (and nights–festival goers rarely sleep).  Photos are hard to come by since flash photography is banned and lighting is weak (and the guy who set up this page had a camera that decided that it, too, was on vacation) , but we will do our best to share at least some of the memories with some photos from Puppet Gumbo.

A moonlight cruise and Moss Fairy.

At The Slam, Lyon Hill creeped us out with a true story.

A revamped Panther and Crane

Cindy Ball and Lexie Danner perform Jason's Dream

The Dragon King was a real treat.
Is that Comcast's Bill or Carolyn Slowsky?

Hosting the 5 minute potpourri performances (and passing out Murray Schwartz's old bownling trophies) were Ronni Gerstel and Peter Effaldana.
