At most puppet festivals, someone generously volunteers his or her time and lays out various donated items on tables in a relatively attractive manner.  Puppet Gumbo took it a few steps beyond the ordinary.  This festival recruited the professionals!  Curated by Erin Dziedzic, the exhibit was hosted for an entire month by SCAD's Red Gallery, a beautiful venue in town, where the public could enjoy sharing our art.  Here are some photos from Bringing Stories to Life, which was designed as an exhibition that explores modes of storytelling in puppetry arts.
