In 1891, Henry B. Plant opened the Tampa Bay Hotel.  Sarah Bernhardt, Thomas Edison, Babe Ruth, and Teddy Roosevelt have stayed there, and we're hoping you'll join us too!!!

Located on the river in downtown Tampa, the campus of the University of Tampa is very compact and level.   New dormitories combine with historic architecture to create a unique campus.  Workshops will be conducted in the rooms and suites of the former Tampa Bay Hotel, a Moorish extravagance that cost $2.5 million in 1891!
